Message from the County Administrator
|
November is here! This month brings us cooler weather and many opportunities to get involved with our community. The upcoming annual Kingsland Catfish Festival and the 2020 Showcase Camden County Photo Contest are some events residents can participate in this month. The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program takes place from now until December, so please consider donating to this year's campaign to give Christmas gifts to children in need.
The 2020 General Election is Tuesday, November 3rd, so please remember to stay informed about your voter registration status and your assigned polling location. The Camden County Board of Elections and Registration has been working diligently to help residents exercise their right to vote. Make sure your voice is heard in this election!
We are thrilled to have received the highest form of recognition in government accounting from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada (GFOA) for Excellence in Financial Reporting. I am very grateful of our wonderful finance department for their excellent work in handling the County's financial reports.
With the holiday season quickly approaching, please remember to take necessary precautions to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Stay safe and remain healthy. Wishing you a happy November!
Yours for a better Camden,
