REDUCE VAT ON CHILDREN'S PLAY FROM 20% to 0%

NEW CAMPAIGN WEBSITE IS LIVE

WE NEED THE WHOLE INDUSTRY BEHIND THIS

The Association of Indoor Play has launched a new parent-facing website for our campaign: moreplaylesstopay.com

It explains simply why we are campaigning to reduce VAT on indoor play admissions from 20% to 0%. Now we need the whole play industry to help us get it in front of as many families as possible.

Whether you’re an operator, attraction, supplier, manufacturer or industry professional, please help by:

  • Sharing the campaign across your social channels and asking your customers to share it too.
  • Adding www.moreplaylesstopay.com to your website (see the button below), newsletters and customer emails.
  • Displaying campaign materials in your venues and encouraging parents to sign.
  • Tagging parenting groups, bloggers, influencers and family organisations.
  • Contacting your local press and MP to explain why affordable play matters.
  • Using #DontTaxChildsPlay on your posts.

Most importantly, encourage parents to sign the official UK Parliament petition and confirm their signature via the email Parliament sends them.

We are over halfway to 10,000 signatures - our first milestone - when the Government will respond to the petition.

We can’t do this alone. Please share it, post it, put it on your screens and get it in front of your customers. The bigger our reach, the louder the voice for affordable play.

Website Button

A simple way to show your support - add this button to your website or booking platform and link it to moreplaylesstopay.com

This will help families discover the campaign and encourage more people to sign the petition. Every website that joins in helps our message reach further.

poster or project on screen

Print campaign posters and display them prominently - at reception, tills, cafés, party areas, entrances, back of toilet doors.

Boomerang Media has also projected this on all indoor play screens - but you can use this on your own screens too.

Help Spread the Word!

London Mums Magazine has published a parent-focused article explaining how VAT applies to children’s indoor play and highlighting the AIP campaign.

Please share the article on your social channels so more families can understand the issue and find the petition.
