Mayor Eric Garcetti announced that beginning tomorrow, Saturday, May 30
2020, hair salons, barbershops, and in-person dining are allowed to open. Still closed are gyms/fitness centers, bars/nightclubs, beach piers, entertainment venues, galleries, indoor museums and zoos.
Hair Salons and Barbershops must have physical distancing measures in place. Employees and customers must be screened for symptoms. Face coverings are required for everyone. No magazine, coffee, or other amenities should be provided. Contactless payment methods are highly encouraged, and stylists can only serve one client at a time.

Reservations are encouraged, and customers should wait outside until called. Face coverings should be worn at all times unless eating. Bar areas must remain closed, and occupancy is limited to 60%.
