SB SOL Food Festival
The Third Annual Fest is a community celebration of all that is Sustainable, Organic, & Local in food & drink! My book will be for sale at the Whole Foods booth. Each hour a different chef will be conducting a hands-on cooking class in the open air kitchen; my class is at 4:30pm (pre-register at Chef's booth during the day). I'll be making my Cannellini Bean & Tomato Basil Salad

Santa Barbara's newest community gardens are at Trinity Lutheran Church, on the corner of La Cumbre & Foothill. We'll tour the garden, harvest some produce for the class, then cook in their commercial kitchen. This class focuses on The Three Sisters -- corn, beans, & squash -- staples of Native America.
