Your Survey Answers Helped!
We offered a survey in the May 1st newsletter and 31 of you took the time to tell us more about how to support you. Here are some takeaways:

  1. The majority of respondents are doing just as well or better than when the remote work period started.
  2. Many noted that the stress management techniques offered both in the multi-week series, and the one time webinars have helped them decrease stress. Those webinars are available on the Wellness Website.
  3. Some are feeling challenged by the need to be available and responsive all day, leaving little time for self care. Guy Winch offers help in this great TEDTalk.
  4. For those who are struggling with unrealistic expectations from managers and coworkers., the Wellness Team knows this is a challenging time and would like to share Heidi Weiker's 7 Tips for Handling Challenging Relationships.

Don't forget the Remote Work Resources page on the Wellness website which is updated multiple times each week.

Thank you for answering our questions. Supporting you is our number one goal!

Zoom Continues through the Summer
Our classes will be offered via Zoom for the balance of the summer. So, don't hesitate to sign up for classes if you don't think you can come to any onsite classes, or if you feel uncomfortable in a group setting. Even those classes which we may transition to on-site will be available on Zoom as well.
