Open Enrollment for the 2023-2024 School Year begins December 1st for NEW students to STEAD! We are accepting 9th,10th and 11th graders next school year!

Support STEAD through local Community Spirit Nights! We have a Spirit Night at Dions on November 15th from 5-8pm.

At STEAD, we believe that our students benefit from breaking out of their routine and diving deeply into something they are passionate about.

One of the experiences that makes STEAD unique is our week-long break from our typical academics for an intensive study of something totally different- something we call Accelerator Weeks.

These weeks are designed by our guides and our students and allow for a totally unique experience, often drawing staff out of their subject areas to share another passion or to learn something totally new with students!

Our first Accelerator Week was September 19th-23rd. Some of our choices this Accelerator Week included: Denver Food Culture Exploration, STEAD Micro-economy and Entrepreneurship, Sign Me Up, Santa Fe, Engineering Lab at CU Boulder, Aviation and Rocketry, Music Production + Beats, just to name a few!
