Dave and I could not be more pleased and proud of our work with Grace Cottage Hospital’s Health Equity Team, as outlined in the attached article from the June issue of VT Business Magazine, which came out just in time for LGBTQ+ Pride Month.
The article explores the deep intentional efforts, cultural, and operational changes occurring for LGBTQ+ patients and employees at some of Vermont's most forward-thinking healthcare facilities (including conversations with some of those most affected), and a look at the economics of inclusivity and exclusivity.
Simply stated, we need to take care of our people and these are the folks in Vermont who are getting it done!

Frog Meadow's Community Partners in Pride Program supports and sustains qualified LGBTQ+ and other non-profit partner organizations in our community where we can make a significant difference. Community Partners in Pride have included AIDS Project of Southern Vermont, Pride Center of Vermont, Fenway Health, the New England Center for Circus Arts, Grace Cottage Hospital, Out in the Open, Equal Justice Initiative and Rock River Preservation.

The Hall Art Foundation in Reading VT hosts an exhibition of 100+ Andy Warhol Paintings through November
The exhibit features a comprehensive and intimate retrospective of the paintings of Andy Warhol, including over 100 small format paintings from the Hall Collection that span Andy Warhol’s entire career with important examples from his most seminal series.
Cultural icon, celebrity and provocateur, Andy Warhol produced works that are instantly recognizable and have inspired a generation of artists. He often made many different versions of the same subject, perhaps most famously with his iconic multi-part work, Campbell’s Soup Cans (1962) which depicts 32 different versions of a Campbell’s soup can.

Built 148 years ago, The West Dummerston Covered Bridge Is The Longest Covered Bridge Entirely In Vermont and is less than 5 miles from Frog Meadow!
Covered bridges are plentiful in our green state, and many of them have an old and interesting history. That rings true for The West Dummerston Covered Bridge as well. This elegant covered bridge was constructed in 1872, and it still stands, having stood the test of time. It also holds the record for the longest covered bridge in Vermont that is wholly within the state

Local Hiking: Hamilton Falls |
|
Head to nearby Hamilton Falls if you’re looking for a stunning view that will leave you speechless.
Although there are many waterfalls with amazing scenery near Frog Meadow, Hamilton Falls is one-of-a-kind for taking in nature. While the hike is just under six miles, the views to and from the falls will make every step worth it!
Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 2.5 hours to complete.

Although Vermont's recent rainstorms and flooding have had limited impact on the roads in our immediate area of Frog Meadow and nearby Brattleboro, the area streams and rivers are currently at capacity.
Please note there has been negative impact to the Rock River gay nude beach and access trail from Route 30 due to the rainstorms and subsequent flooding.

The Main House South Room has a king bed (with a plush yet firm pillow top mattress) and beautiful views of the Vermont hills, the swimming pond and gardens. With southwestern exposure the room is bright and sunny and has wonderful cross breezes.

On the rare occasion that it does get warm and muggy at night there is quiet central air conditioning.
A generously sized full bath tiled in beautiful blue handmade ceramics is shared with the North Room.
All bed linens at Frog Meadow are high thread count Egyptian cotton.

To ensure a good night’s sleep, the Brook Cottage is furnished with a comfy pillow-top mattress. For your convenience there is a campus-wide Mesh Wi-Fi network that provides high-speed internet access throughout the property including the Main House, Carriage House, the Brook Cottage, the Honey Bee Cottage, the gardens, orchard, meadow and the swimming pond areas at Frog Meadow. "Tri-State" 45-Mile Road Bike Ride
Join us for a 45-mile road ride through the beautiful Connecticut River Valley! Known by locals as the "Tri-State Ride" because it goes through the states of Vermont, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
The ride is moderately hilly. Half way through the ride we will stop in Northfield, MA at an ice cream stand for lunch and an ice cream cone!
Participants should be experienced cyclists and have road bikes, not hybrids or mountain bikes. We will be riding at a moderate pace of 14-15 mph.
Following the ride you're invited to join us back at Frog Meadow for a BYOB social mixer, hot tub and dip in the swimming pond!

Join us for our 3-day Fall Yoga & Wellness Weekend Retreat! Its a great way to take a break, r-e-l-a-x, reset, re-center, and re-connect with the things that light us up. Our Guest Yogi, Colby Smith will be with us for 3 days of yoga, pilates, meditation and massage - his first weekend retreat at Frog Meadow in 4 years!
Sessions throughout the long weekend are tailored to the group and will incorporate yoga, pilates, meditation and massage techniques. Throughout this all-inclusive men’s retreat weekend, you can also relax in our wood-fired hot tub, take advantage of the amenities at Frog Meadow including wood-fired hot tub, swimming pond, on-site hiking trails, the gym or simply relax!
We don’t care if you are young or old, straight or gay, black or white (or blue or green), sculpted or sagging. Our work-shops are open to all kinds of men: younger…older…buff…and not so buff….we always get a mix.
The idea is to be open to all types of men with the common thread being the desire to learn and share the experience of yoga, pilates, meditation and male touch. We take pride in our respectful, supportive, and friendly atmosphere. We are refreshingly free of “attitude”.

We’ve been coming to Frog Meadow yearly for over a decade. It is the sweetest B&B at which we’ve ever stayed.
Scott and Dave are truly gracious hosts. The rooms and every square inch of the public spaces are spotless and well appointed. The garden in beautifully maintained. There is so so much acreage to ramble around in. And Rock River is very near!
Newfane is very small, but very charming with great eateries. And Brattleboro is crazy picturesque with fun shops and some very fine restaurants.
And this area of Vermont is simply gorgeous.
