Clean water for God's thirsty children
Give For Good and
Village Anchor Results:
More Than 1,000 Families Drinking Clean Water
We send a sincere Thank You to all who participated in Give For Good Louisville 2020. Even in this time of uncertainty, we received nearly $19,000 in donations.

That's enough to equip and train 250 new Water Women, and provide clean water to 1,000 families.

As you can see on the map, we received gifts from 21 states -- even as far away as Alaska and Hawaii.

And our friends at Village Anchor helped us raise almost $600 in just a few hours -- bringing clean water to another 32 families.

Please see below for other opportunities to help transform communities through the gift of clean water!
An Aggressive New
Initiative In Haiti
The need never ends in Haiti. But as difficult as the conditions are across the country, the beauty of the people and their eagerness to help one another always shines through.

Now, Water With Blessings' Haiti coordinator Gerry Delaquis tells there is a new push with a good friend of the Village By Village Program. Dr. Helman Ceneus (pictured above) is Haiti's Director of Public Health. He is encouraging us to equip and train 7,200 Water Women in his home area of St. Michel -- and to complete the project before the end of this year.

"This is our biggest effort yet, double the size of any before," Gerry said. "St. Michel is both a city and the name of the commune, which is like a county in the US. With Dr. Helman's help, we're trying to cover all the areas of the commune.

"He's not just a collaborator -- he's a partner with us. Working with the people he has identified is the best collaboration we've had. They're very organized. They not only coordinate, they provide a place for the team to sleep, and transportation to and all around St. Michel. We never have any problems."

And they never have to delay the training.

"The women are always there, waiting for us," Gerry said.
Using the necessary coronavirus precautions, these new Haitian Water Women focus intently on their training. Soon they will be providing clean water to their own and 3 other families.

Please consider underwriting more women to join them in this life-transforming work.
Another Chance To Grab
A Great Meal For A Great Cause

Coming off the great event with our generous friends at Village Anchor, another Louisville-area restaurant is opening its doors to Water With Blessings.

On October 25th, Water With Blessings will be the Celebrity Host at Le Moo during the dinner shift (5-9pm). Up to 10% of the night's total revenue will be donated to us.

Le Moo (2300 Lexington Road) boasts the most eclectic steak menu in Louisville, (a cut for every palate) and offers a variety of non-beef selections, including lamb, chicken, seafood and pasta. Bourbon infused sides, Gluten-Free options, Kid's Menu, and much more.

Once again, we will be there to greet our friends and meet new ones while we hand out our world-famous, always-in-demand WWB swag bags.

So make your reservations now, and help us continue providing clean water to God's thirsty children.
No Street Fair, But Shure -- You Can Still Get Your Shirt

Due to coronavirus complications, we weren't able to hold our street fair here in Middletown during Give For Good Louisville 2020. But this just makes it possible for more of our friends across the country to get their own Water With Blessings tie-dye t-shirt.

Above you can see WWB Advocates Gerry and Susan Hope sporting these stylish shirts. Gerry tells us:

"Well, here’s a picture of a couple from the '60s who over the years have morphed into a “Mimi & Papa”! I couldn’t find my “bell-bottom” pants, and the long hair is definitely gone!"

That's okay Gerry -- we've always heard that if you remember the '60s, you weren't really there.

Just click the button below and you will be able to join Gerry for a trip back in time.

Why I Support
Water With Blessings
By Renee Schultz
WWB Board Member

I came to know about Water with Blessings through my relationship with the Ursuline Sisters. I am from the Kansas City area and spent ten years as a Campus Minister at Bishop Miege High School. Being a part of the Ursuline Community, I had the privilege of spending time with Sr. Larraine and fell in love with her mission. I don’t know how else to say it, other than you just know in your soul when someone is the “real deal.”

Ever since, I have been in awe of the miracle that is the Sawyer PointONE Filter and the empowering program developed by Water with Blessings. It really works. After working with so many agencies during my time in campus ministry, I know how rare it is when something really works at the level that Water With Blessings does.

I believe firmly in the South African philosophy of Ubuntu, often translated as “I am because we are”
-- when anyone is dehumanized we all are. I know this answer to water-borne illness is from God, and it’s our job as those living in abundance to get this “answer” to as many people as possible.

Clean, safe water is the most basic of human needs. In the past I’ve often found it uncomfortable to fundraise for various organizations, but with Water with Blessings I’m willing and even excited to ask my friends and family for support. I truly believe in this mission with my whole heart.

I know that Water with Blessings is a result of the right people being in the right place with an open heart and mind to God’s plan. This is a partnership with God that is an answer to the cries of the oppressed. I am honored to be a part of this. I can’t look away. I have heard the call and I am forever changed.
This Week's Coffee Chat Takes Us Back to Haiti
This week we will be talking with Haiti Coordinator Gerry Delaquis and our great partner Dr. Helman Ceneus, the country's Director of Public Health. They will give us a progress report on the Village By Village Program's efforts in St. Michel.

So grab a morning beverage and fire up the connection to Coffee Chat, this coming Friday at 9am. It's going to be a great chance to hear some good news for a change.
Whether it's for this young boy in Ecuador, or a little one in another part of the world, your gifts
provide clean water for
God's thirsty children.

As the world goes through this difficult time, with so many fearing for their health and livelihoods, we at Water With Blessings have so many reasons to be grateful. In just one week, you helped us raise enough money to change the lives more than 1,000 families.

We give thanks for your generosity, and pray that God will bless you and your loved ones, and keep all of you safe and healthy.
We believe every child should be drinking clean water. Are you with us?
