More Than Enough!!! 7/21/24
Philippians 4:19 (KJV)
19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
In a world gone mad, it is COMFORTING to have and KNOW a God who SUPERCEDES this world and its needs and troubles-AMEN!!??
Ain't it WONDERFUL to KNOW that:
Ephesians 3:20 (KJV)
20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
This PROMISE/these WORDS are EXCEEDINGLY true!!!
In fact, MOST of us can exclaim as Moses did:
Exodus 36:7 (KJV)
7 For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.
WE HAVE TOO MUCH STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For far too many years just the act of going out to eat with a beloved friend and/or loved ones was a major trial!! IF I was asked to “pick up the check” my entire budget for the month was in jeopardy!!!!
How well do I remember, in that land far away, of being on the side of the road (Hwy. 431/231, on my way to THE REDNECK PARADISE/AKA Panama City, FL.).....
BROKE DOWN with nothing by a few Travelers Checks to pay for a meager vacation.
NO plastic credit cards and my entire vacation in peril!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AH, those were the days............................................
BUT, REMEMBER and DO remember God's PROMISE:
Psalm 37:25 (KJV)
25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
As many of you approach retirement age, the worry is “WILL I HAVE ENOUGH???”
The ANSWER is a resounding YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
GOD PROSIED AND PROMISES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Almost daily, I personally MARVEL at God's continues PROVISION!!!
Things I worried and fretted over yesterday become “JUST” another opportunity for God to show up and show out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YOU know its true-SELAH!!! Just think about it!!!!!!!!!!!!
When WE become sick, WE think we will never feel better!!!
As Mark Twain so famously declared:
“I HAVE HAD MANY TROUBLES IN MY LIFE.......................
BUT, THANK GOD, MOST OF THEM NEVER HAPPENED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Just as I previously preached last week:

Beloved, WE need to REALLY hear and BELIEVE Jesus' Words:
Matthew 6:31-34 (KJV)
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Jesus REALLY MEANT what He said when He said, “TAKE NO THOUGHT FOR THE MORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

The same definition of the word “THOUGHT” is defined as “CAREFUL” in:

6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

FAINT-(my definition) LOSE COURAGE OR HOPE-TO GIVE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
