SPRING ROAD WEIGHT LIMITS LIFTED

Temporary spring weight limits on town roads are no longer in effect. The Town Board extends its thanks to all who complied with this annual restriction in the interest of protecting our roads.
YARD WASTE DISPOSAL REMINDER

This site is available at no cost to St. Germain residents. It is not intended as a free dumping site for commercial tree services. Excessive abuse of the facility during the spring, summer and fall of 2019 prompted the Town Board to limit hours of operation this spring to Saturdays and Sundays in May.

This past weekend there were logs exceeding six inches in diameter delivered to the site. The cost of hiring a service with a grinder capable of handling large logs has become excessive and beyond what the Town can afford.

Please comply with all rules as posted on Forest Lane approaching the yard waste site. Continued violation of the rules will likely result in the site being closed permanently.
