According to the National Weather Service, snow is expected to develop this afternoon and continue into the night, with 1 to 2 inches possible across Saline County. Snowfall is expected to begin between 3 and 6 pm and end around midnight. Motorists should anticipate slick roads, reduced visibility, and difficult travel conditions.
Saline County Road and Bridge crews remain actively engaged in clearing roads and will continue operations into the night to keep roads as clear as possible. Drivers are urged to slow down, maintain safe distances, and allow extra time when traveling.
