More states to get enhanced Hospital Indemnity plan

Starting Tuesday, Nov. 1, Ohio and Utah will have access to Medico’s recently enhanced Hospital Indemnity insurance product. New and existing clients can take advantage of these enhancements: 

• A guaranteed issue period for clients who are 64–67 years old at the time they sign the application
• A three-day benefit period on the base hospital confinement benefit
• New and existing customers no longer need to be admitted to a hospital emergency room within 24 hours of receiving treatment to use the Emergency Room benefit
