Parents Challenge will expand the number of students from families in financial need it serves in the Pikes Peak Region in the coming year through a $100,000 grant announced today from the Daniels Fund.
We are excited to announce that $25,000 of the award requires Parents Challenge to raise matching funds to be dedicated to our grants and scholarships to low-income families. The Daniels Fund will match any donation up to a total of $25,000, doubling the impact of your gift. Please consider making a donation of any amount by clicking on the “Donate Now” button.
“Since our founding, we have empowered parents of more than 2,400 students from low-income families in the Pikes Peak region to choose the schools they think will best provide a quality education that will prepare them to succeed in school and in life,” explained Steve Schuck, co-founder of Parents Challenge. “Thanks to the Daniels Fund, we will be able to help even more families next year.”
Parents Challenge empowers low-income parents with financial and informational resources to choose the best option for their children -- be it public, private, charter, or home school. Parents Challenge currently serves 213 students from 134 families in the Pikes Peak Region.
