Stay Informed on AB 98 and SB 415

Want to learn how the proposed truck routes may affect our community, ask questions, and provide valuable input? Join us on Wednesday, March 4, at 6:00 p.m. for an informative and interactive workshop in the City Hall Council Chamber, located at 14177 Frederick Street.

Your constructive discourse and feedback will help inform the City’s evaluation and decision-making process as it works to comply with state law while prioritizing community health, safety, and quality of life.

The review and proposed updates are part of the City’s effort to comply with California Assembly Bill 98 (AB 98) and related state legislation, including Senate Bill 415 (SB 415). These laws are intended to reduce air pollution, improve public health, and protect sensitive land uses such as homes, schools, parks, and hospitals.

Visit moval.org/truckroutes for interactive maps, a downloadable static map PDF, and FAQs.

Pet of the Week: Ruthie

Our Pet of the Week is Ruthie, a one-year-old, female, red merle and brown Catahoula/Pit Bull mix.

Ruthie is truly a masterpiece of canine characteristics. Her markings are a work of art, and her "fursonality" comes to life in a beautifully sweet symphony of affection, playfulness, and curiosity. She is looking for that perfect place to call home, and the perfect pet parents to call family.

If you would like to make Ruthie, or any pet from the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter, part of your family, please call 951.413.3790 or visit moval.org/pets.

The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter is located at 14041 Elsworth Street in Moreno Valley.

Note: Our featured pets tend to get adopted very quickly when they are shared in our newsletter and on social media. If they have already been adopted when you inquire, please consider one of the other loving pets in the shelter who are also looking for their forever homes.
