MoVal Woke Up, Showed Up, and Cleaned Up!

EXCLUSIVE REPORT: Ten Years and Going Strong: Moreno Valley Volunteers Join the Mayor and City Council for Another Beautify MoVal Community Day of Service

On Saturday, April 25, volunteers of all ages got up bright and early and came together to help spruce up two city parks for Beautify MoVal Community Day of Service.

The event kicked off at City Hall, where volunteers were treated to refreshments, raffle prizes, and games. Following the City Hall festivities, residents pitched in to clean up, paint, and landscape at Bethune Park in District 4 and West Bluff Park in District 2.

In celebration of Arbor Day, the City Council planted some new trees that will provide shade on those hot MoVal summer days.

The event was a great reminder that a little hard work can create something both beautiful and fun.

Beautify MoVal events provide memorable experiences for friends and families to build community pride and encourage corporate team building.

Pet of the Week: Timone

Our Pet of the Week is Timone, a one-year-old, blue merle and white male Pit Bull Mix.

When it comes to adorable Pit Bulls, Timone is as cute as they come. At just a year old, he has the fun, playful energy of a young dog, but he has already learned many of the manners and behaviors that would make him a great addition to a loving Moreno Valley family. He's also good on a leash and loves taking walks.

If you would like to make Timone, or any pet from the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter, part of your family, please call 951.413.3790 or visit moval.org/pets.

The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter is located at 14041 Elsworth Street in Moreno Valley.

Note: Our featured pets tend to get adopted very quickly when they are shared in our newsletter and on social media. If they have already been adopted when you inquire, please consider one of the other loving pets in the shelter who are also looking for their forever homes.
