Supporters of the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter and the many pets it rescues have a chance to do a lot of good during the month of August as the Shelter joins with NBC4/Telemundo to "Clear the Shelters." The annual event, set in Moreno Valley for Saturday, Aug. 15, encourages pet adoption with deeply discounted pet adoption fees of just $20 -- a savings in some cases of as much as $100 or more.
In addition, the "Clear the Shelters" campaign is partnering with GreaterGood.org to provide matching funds for every dollar donated to the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter any time during August up to a maximum total match of $10,000.

Due to coronavirus, Animal Shelter visits are by appointment only. Those looking for a pet to adopt should use the Pet Search function on the City of Moreno Valley website to see an up-to-date listing of available pets.
