Newly Renamed BERC Helping Employers and Employees Weather the Recession
Since the start of the pandemic a year ago this month, the Moreno Valley Employment Resource Center, or “ERC,” has remained open to provide help to residents looking for work and businesses struggling to make it through the shut-down orders. As Dr. Yxstian Gutierrez, Mayor of Moreno Valley, explains in this month's Mayor's Minute video, a year later, the ERC is still going strong, and providing even more services as an official America’s Job Center office. And the name has expanded to better reflect the work being done. The ERC is now the Business and Employment Resource Center, or “BERC.” New name, more services, same convenient location.
