City Recognized for Efforts to
Keep Moreno Valley Beautiful
Keep America Beautiful, the nation’s leading community improvement nonprofit organization, has presented the City of Moreno Valley with its 2020 President’s Circle Award. The City received the award for its Keep Moreno Valley Beautiful initiative that includes beautification efforts such as recycling, graffiti removal, road sponsorship, park adoption, and more. Keep Moreno Valley Beautiful is now part of MoVal's newest community enhancement program, aptly named Beautify MoVal.

Moreno Valley is a beautiful place, and we strive to keep it that way. If you would like to be part of the City's efforts to enhance the quality of life in your community, please visit www.moval.org/beautify and join the movement today!

Give Blood Today
Vaccines are manufactured. But one of the most important life-saving substances -- blood -- can't be. It has to be donated, and there is a continuous demand for blood of all types.

Riverside University Health System (RUHS) hosts a LifeStream Blood Bank donation event the first Wednesday of each month from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit LifeStream online to make an appointment for the monthly RUHS event or other events. Or call 1-800-879-4484. Please consider becoming a lifesaver!
Dispose of Used Oil the Right Way
Did you know that used motor oil never wears out? It just gets dirty. But oil can be recycled, cleaned, and used again. Recycling used motor oil conserves a natural resource and is good for the environment. Motor oil poured onto the ground or into storm drains, or tossed into trash cans, even in a sealed container, can contaminate and pollute the soil, groundwater, streams, and rivers (and it's illegal). Take your used oil to your local certified center for recycling. For more information, please visit www.moval.org/oil.
A Visit to: TownGate Park II
It's hard to tell where one begins and the other leaves off, but TownGate Memorial Park and TownGate Park II, which is located at 13100 Arbor Park Lane, are two separate parks. TownGate II features its own amenities, such as the TownGate Community Center, which often serves as a banquet facility, a beautiful playground, barbecues, picnic tables, picnic shelters, a walking path, restrooms, convenient off-street parking and security lighting. TownGate II deserves a visit! Learn more online about TownGate II Park and all of Moreno Valley's beautiful parks!
