City Celebrates Business & Employment Resource Center Ribbon Cutting
On Friday, April 30, the City of Moreno Valley celebrated the Business & Employment Resource Center's (BERC) official ribbon-cutting ceremony. The BERC provides job-seeking and employment recruitment services directly to Moreno Valley residents. With the BERC's America's Job Centers of California (AJCC) designation, residents of Moreno Valley will have access to more comprehendsive resources for their business and employment needs. Despite the pandemic, the BERC has been continuously open to the public and has even expanded resources. Over the past few years, this Center has helped thousands of Moreno Valley residents with their job searches. The success of the BERC is a testament to the Moreno Valley Mayor, City Council, and Staff's effort to connect residents with good local jobs.

Think Globally, Act Locally, Recycle Today!
Did you know that California State Law requires residents of apartment complexes and multi-family units to recycle? Multi-family properties with five or more units must recycle items such as empty bottles, cans, and paper. Recycling reduces litter, beautifies our community, and is great for our environment.

To find out more about what resources are available for recycling, visit www.moval.org/cleanup

Pet of the Week: Shiloh
Our Pet of the Week is Shiloh. He is a sweet and shy Labrador Retriever that's about to turn two. It may take a moment for Shiloh to warm up to you, but once he does, you won't find a more loyal companion. Shiloh is a great dog for a family that has love in their hearts to spare.

If you would like to make Shiloh or any pet from the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter part of your family, please contact the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter at 951.413.3790 or visit www.moval.org/pets.
