MoVal Rocks Out with The Smokin' Cobras and La Bamba
If you missed yesterday's "totally 80's" MoVal Rocks concert featuring The Reflexx, you still have plenty of time to catch The Smokin' Cobras next week on July 22 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Smokin' Cobras are masters of rock and roll nostalgia who play all the best floor-filler songs of the 50s, 60s and beyond.

The 50s theme continues with a screening of the classic movie "La Bamba" at our brand new Civic Center Amphitheater on July 23 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. "La Bamba" tells the story of Ritchie Valens, one of rock and roll's earliest superstars.

Pet of the Week: Beau
Our Pet of the Week is a four-year-old black and white Border Collie Mix named Beau. He is whip-smart and looking for a family to teach him new tricks. Loyal and loving Beau would make a great addition to any family. All he needs is that one special someone to give him his new forever home.
