Here's Your Chance to Beautify MoVal
Did you miss the last Beautify MoVal event? There's still plenty of time to sign up for the next one!

After the first successful event in May, MoVal is holding its second Community Day of Service on Saturday, August 14, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Join your fellow community members, organizations, and businesses as we spruce up two great Moreno Valley parks. Volunteers will meet in front of City Hall—located at 14177 Frederick Street—for refreshments and exciting raffles before setting out to Beautify MoVal.

Maintaining Our Moreno Valley
Join the Conversation
The City of Moreno Valley thanks residents for their valuable input!

As Moreno Valley continues to recover and reopen, the City strives to maintain the services that make MoVal a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

Unfortunately, costs for critical public safety services from the County continue to rise. Our budgets and the critical basic services our residents value are at risk.

That is why YOUR feedback is so important. We want to thank the over 1,000 residents who have participated in this survey. The City Council will consider this feedback as we plan our next steps.

To provide feedback, please visit www.moval.org/JoinTheConversation, and share YOUR priorities for Moreno Valley.
Onward to the Food Truck Fest
If you missed Stone Soul at yesterday's MoVal Rocks concert, then you will have to wait until next year to catch one of Moreno Valley's exciting summer musical performances.

Tonight, join your community for a special Food Truck Fest followed by a screening of the Disney/Pixar hit, "Onward" from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. "Onward" is a fun and family-friendly movie that tells the story of two elf brothers who embark on the adventure of a lifetime.

A Visit to Cottonwood Trail
This weekend, take a nice and easy stroll on Cottonwood Trail, which stretches just under half a mile along Cottonwood Avenue from Redlands Boulevard to the Quincy Channel. The trail also includes a staging area with drinking fountains, picnic tables, and a sizable equestrian facility for horse lovers young and old. Pet of the Week: Brandon
Our Pet of the Week is a four-year-old tan and gray Silky Terrier Mix named Brandon. He is a sweet and curious pup always looking for adventure. Brandon is the kind of dog who loves to hop in the car and go for a ride. If you are looking for a road companion or just a dedicated sidekick, then Brandon is the dog for you.

If you would like to make Brandon or any pet from the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter part of your family, please contact the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter at 951.413.3790 or visit www.moval.org/pets.
