The annual El Grito de Independencia festival, which celebrates Mexican Independence Day and the start of Hispanic Heritage Month, is making a triumphant return on Wednesday, September 15 at 5 p.m. at the brand-new Civic Center Amphitheater.
This free, fun, and family-friendly event will feature music, dancing, ballet folklórico performances, rodeo, food vendors, a youth fun zone, and much more. The main event will be a re-enactment of "El Grito de Dolores," the legendary battle hymn, which sparked the Mexican War of Independence from Spain, and a live stream of the El Grito events from Mexico City.
