Thousands of people from Moreno Valley and beyond attended the celebration at our Civic Center Amphitheater, which featured great food, talented art vendors, and beautiful ofrendas paying tribute to dearly departed loved ones.

Join the Mayor and City Council for Our Next Beautify MoVal Community Day of Service
Here's your chance to make a beautiful difference in your community!

Our next Beautify MoVal event is on Saturday, November 13 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Join Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez, the Moreno Valley City Council, and hundreds of your fellow community volunteers as we help beautify Towngate Memorial Park and Celebration Park.

We will meet in front of City Hall at 8 a.m. for free coffee and pastries before setting out to keep MoVal beautiful.

Moreno Valley Animal Shelter Offers Free Vaccinations for Hundreds of Pets
The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter is currently offering pet vaccinations for dogs and cats.

The vaccines for dogs provide protection against canine distemper, adenovirus type-2, parainfluenza, and parvovirus. The cat vaccines protect against feline rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia.

The offer is first come, first serve, and residents are urged to call while supplies last. Proof of residency is required at the time of your appointment, and up to four pets per household will qualify for a free vaccination. Funding for the vaccine promotion is provided by the Petco Love Foundation.

To schedule an appointment, contact the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter at 951.413.3790. Shelter hours are from Tuesday through Friday, 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or on Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Watch this Beautiful Aerial Footage of the Upcoming Moreno Beach Bridge
Construction crews are hard at work on the Moreno Beach Drive/SR60 bridge project. Check out this aerial video showing some of the progress so far.

The project is the largest public works project in Moreno Valley history. It replaces the existing bridge with a brand-new seven-lane bridge, complete with easier access to and from the freeway, traffic mitigation measures, pavement replacement, safety enhancements and underground storm drain facilities.
