Moreno Valley Wins "Turning Red Tape
into Red Carpet" Award
The City of Moreno Valley is proud to announce its first place win for Innovative Use of Technology for MoVal's Digital Plan Room. The award was given at the Inland Empire Economic Partnership’s (IEEP) 9th Annual Turning Red Tape to Red Carpet Awards.

The Innovative Use of Technology award was given to the City for its implementation of an electronic plan submittal process to better serve residents and businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Digital Plan Room tool became a convenient way for customers to remotely submit planning documents to the City throughout the pandemic, making it a vital resource to keep Moreno Valley moving at the speed of business.
