Fireworks are Illegal Year-Round
in Moreno Valley
As we approach the New Year, the City reminds residents that fireworks are illegal year-round in Moreno Valley.

Not only are fireworks illegal, but they are also extremely dangerous. Illegal fireworks may cause serious injuries, trigger PTSD in veterans, and cause pets to run away. Moreno Valley police officers have also prioritized illegal fireworks enforcement and have made numerous fines and arrests throughout the year.

To report illegal fireworks, visit www.moval.org/fireworks or call 951.247.8700

Please have a fun, safe, and fireworks-free New Year.
Many Spots Still Available for
December 29 Vaccination Event

Pet of the Week: Phoebe
Our Pet of the Week is a one-year-old Rottweiler Mix named Phoebe. This young pup is adorable, curious, and loves to play tug-of-war. Phoebe found herself at the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter after being surrendered due to her original family's living situation. All Phoebe wants for Christmas is to find her forever home where she can play and be loved.

If you would like to make Phoebe or any pet from the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter part of your family, please contact the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter at 951.413.3790 or visit www.moval.org/pets.
