Fireworks and Celebratory Gunfire are Illegal
 in Moreno Valley
As we approach the New Year, the City reminds residents that fireworks and celebratory gunfire are illegal year-round in Moreno Valley.

Illegal fireworks are dangerous and may cause serious injuries, trigger PTSD in veterans, and cause pets to run away. Moreno Valley police officers have also prioritized illegal fireworks enforcement and have made numerous fines and arrests throughout the year.

Celebratory gunfire is not only illegal but deadly as well. Gunfire shot into the air can strike innocent bystanders, leading to severe injury and death.

To report illegal fireworks, visit www.moval.org/fireworks or call 951.247.8700. If you see or hear unlawful celebratory gunfire, call 911.

Please have a fun, safe, and fireworks-free New Year.
