City’s After School Program Honored with Think Together’s Champion of Change Award
The City of Moreno Valley was honored by after-school nonprofit Think Together as this year's Champion of Change for their partnership in bringing successful after-school programs to Moreno Valley students.

The City and the Moreno Valley Unified School District were given the distinction during Thursday evening's Raise a Hand event at the Moreno Valley Council Chamber.

Mayor Yxstian Gutiérrez, who accepted the award, touted the over 10-year relationship the City has forged with Think Together in bringing quality after-school programs to Moreno Valley that allows students the opportunity to make their dreams soar.
