Report Litter Along Freeways
Directly to CalTrans
Did you know there's a way you can directly report litter along freeways to Caltrans?

Caltrans has an easy-to-use online tip line if you see litter alongside freeways, underneath overpasses, and near off and on-ramps. Go to the customer service request line at csr.dot.ca.gov. Once there, indicate the type of request, pinpoint the location and when you saw it, and briefly describe the nature of the situation.

Once you submit the tip, Caltrans gives you a ticket number and sends you emails acknowledging the request, when it will be worked on, and when it's completed.

It's yet another way we can work with Caltrans to keep Moreno Valley's freeways clean.
Report Mailbox Theft and Vandalism to the USPS
Mailboxes and cluster mailboxes are legally controlled by the United States Postal Service (USPS). The City of Moreno Valley continues to work with the USPS to curb mail theft and vandalization throughout the City.

If your mailbox has been vandalized or mail has been stolen, immediately report it to the Postmaster at 951.656.9720 or 800.275.8777. You can also report theft, tampering, or destruction of mail or mailboxes by calling 1.877.876.2455 or filling out the Postal Inspection Service Online Form.

When we all work together, we can end mail theft and mailbox vandalism in Moreno Valley.

Pet of the Week: Joseph
Our pet of the week is Joseph, an incredibly sweet one-year-old Terrier mix. This wiry-haired pup is very affectionate with everyone he meets and can’t resist a good head pet. Although Joseph loves to play, he’s a very calm boy. Throw a toy, and he’ll be sure to go after it at his own pace. One look into Joseph’s beautifully mismatched eyes, and you’ll want to bring this good boy home with you.

If you would like to make Joseph or any pet from the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter part of your family, please contact the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter at 951.413.3790 or visit www.moval.org/pets.
