Moreno Valley Animal Shelter's TNR Program Helps Thousands of Cats
Did you know the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter provides a robust Trap Neuter Release (TNR) program for cats?

In just five years, two feral cats can produce 11,000 feral kittens, which leads to overpopulation. The Shelter's TNR program, which has been in operation since 2015, humanely captures feral cats and conducts spay and neuter operations to reduce smell and noise caused by male cats, reduce rodent populations in neighborhoods, and help control the cat population in Moreno Valley.

Since the program began, the Shelter has serviced over 2,100 of our feline friends! Moreno Valley provides these vital initiatives so our community and our cats continue to thrive.

Pet of the Week: Freida
Our Pet of the Week is Freida, a lovable two-year-old Rottweiler German Shepherd mix. Freida is always full of energy, and she’s ready to play at any moment. When she’s not running around, Freida loves to show affection. A dog this sweet won’t be here long, so meet Freida before someone else does.

If you would like to make Freida or any pet from the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter part of your family, please contact the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter at 951.413.3790 or visit www.moval.org/pets.
