Thousands of Moreno Valley residents showed their patriotic spirit during our annual Fourth of July events. The parade featured appearances from the Moreno Valley City Council, the all-MVUSD Marching Band, and countless other businesses and community organizations.

At the FunFest, Moreno Valley danced the day away with performances from Soul3Sixty, Soto, and Jukebox Productions. The grand finale was a massive fireworks show, one of the best in the Inland Empire!

The MoVal Rocks/MoVal Movies Summer
Series is Back
Our popular MoVal Rocks/MoVal Movies summer series is back for 2022!

Join us at the Civic Center Amphitheater for free concerts on Thursdays from July 7 to August 4 at 6:30 pm, and free movie nights on Fridays from July 8 to August 5 at 7 pm!

Our movie lineup for 2022 includes Encanto on July 8, Jungle Cruise on July 15, Godzilla vs. Kong on July 22, Sing 2 on July 29, and Guardians of the Galaxy on August 5.

Our music lineup for this year includes Latin Nation on July 7, Cold Duck on July 14, Bruno and the Hooligans on July 21, Stone Soul on July 28, and Suave the Band on August 4.

Be sure to come early and get a good seat! Bring your blankets or lawn chairs, set them up in the grass area, and enjoy good music or a feature film outdoors with family and friends.

A Visit to Shadow Mountain Park
July is National Parks & Recreation Month, and to celebrate, we're highlighting a few of our 33 parks throughout Moreno Valley. 

Shadow Mountain Park is a 10-acre park located at 23239 Presidio Hills Drive, just east of Pigeon Pass Road. Shadow Mountain Park features a playground, a barbecue area, picnic tables, lighted softball and baseball fields, and an exciting zip line that is perfect for thrill-seeking kids of all ages.

Our Pet of the Week is Lily, a lovable four-year-old black and white beagle mix. Lily is so beautiful and loving, and it’s surprising she’s still waiting to find her forever home!
