El Grito de Independencia is Next Week

Get excited, Moreno Valley! El Grito is less than one week away!

Celebrate Mexican Independence Day and Hispanic Heritage Month during the annual El Grito de Independencia festival on Thursday, September 15, from 5 pm to 10 pm at the Civic Center Amphitheater.

El Grito is a free celebration of Mexican heritage commemorating the country's battle cry for independence. El Grito will feature exciting Ballet Folklorico performances, great music, a charro equestrian performance, delicious food, fun games, and a live feed of El Grito in Mexico City!
