Celebrate Day of the Dead at the

Civic Center Amphitheater

Join us as we celebrate Dia de los Muertos at the Civic Center Amphitheater on Friday, October 28.

Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a time-honored tradition celebrated in Mexico and the United States. During Dia de los Muertos, we honor dearly departed loved ones with music, food, dancing, and building ofrendas, or altars that celebrate the memory of family and friends who have passed.

This year's celebration will be an evening to remember, featuring food vendors, craft tables, ballet folklórico, and exciting live music!

Visit moval.org/parks for more information, and let's get into the spirit of Dia de los Muertos together!

Clear Your Waterways of Debris this Fall

Fall is here, and now is the perfect time for Moreno Valley residents to prepare their properties for wetter weather.

The City’s Public Works Department reminds residents to clear any watercourses on their private property of debris, such as trash, vegetation, sediment, rubble, and more. When you clear your watercourses, you’ll be less likely to experience flooding when it rains.

If you have any questions about watercourses that may flow through your property, call Public Works at 951.413.3120 or click here to learn more.
