The Pavement Rehabilitation Program

Continues to Beautify MoVal Roads

Our historic $50 million Pavement Rehabilitation Program is underway, and you may have seen our progress on roads throughout Moreno Valley.

One crucial aspect of the pavement rehabilitation process is crack sealing on local and major Moreno Valley roads. During crack sealing, road crews fill in cracks that have formed in the roadway, allowing the road to be sealed from the elements.

The crack seal then has to set over time, a process that can range from three to six months depending on the street segment. Crews will then return and place the final treatment on the road, leaving a smooth and improved surface!

Thanksgiving Turkeys Donated to Moreno Valley Families in Need

On Monday, November 21, Mayor Yxstian Gutiérrez helped distribute over 300 free Thanksgiving turkeys to local families at the Conference & Recreation Center.

Many of the turkeys were also delivered to numerous community organizations and nonprofits across Moreno Valley, ensuring they get into the hands of those who need them the most.

Thanks to this giveaway event, the Thanksgiving holiday became brighter for many Moreno Valley families.

From all of us at the City of Moreno Valley, we hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
