Serve Your Community by Joining a

Board or Commission

A City's strength comes from its volunteers, and Moreno Valley thrives when residents step up to serve our community.

One of the most direct ways to volunteer is to be a part of a board or a commission. We are accepting applications from people with new perspectives and exciting ideas to join our boards and commissions.

All you need to qualify is to be a registered voter over 18 years old, a Moreno Valley resident, and have a passion for doing good in your community.

Watch our informative new video about our boards and commissions, and apply today at moval.org/serve.

Pet of the Week: Elora

Our Pet of the Week would love to go home with you for the holidays! Meet Elora, an 11-month-old Shepherd mix who loves to play and show affection. Elora gets so excited when meeting someone new she can’t help but give them puppy kisses all over their face. But don’t let her playful energy fool you—Elora can already sit on command and does great on a leash for walks. She’s the perfect gift for any family!

If you would like to make Elora or any pet from the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter part of your family for free until December 23, please contact the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter at 951.413.3790 or visit www.moval.org/pets.
