Honor Our Nation's Heroes During Moreno Valley's Virtual Memorial Day Address

Join Mayor Ulises Cabrera as we honor our nation's fallen heroes during Moreno Valley's virtual Memorial Day Address on Monday, May 29, at 11 a.m.

Mayor Cabrera will commemorate those who gave their lives in service to our country, including local Moreno Valley heroes whose names are inscribed at our Veterans Memorial at the Moreno Valley Civic Center.

Our annual Public Safety Expo was an incredible showcase of Moreno Valley's finest and bravest first responders!

Scores of people from Moreno Valley and beyond witnessed thrilling police and fire demonstrations, checked out emergency equipment, investigated exciting career opportunities, and met your local Moreno Valley heroes!

Beat the Summer Heat at Celebration Park and Bethune Park's Water Features

Get ready to splash into summer, MoVal! Our water features at Celebration Park and Bethune Park open this weekend!

Starting Saturday, May 27, residents of all ages can beat the heat with our community-favorite water features. It’s the best way to stay cool during summer!

Celebration Park’s water features will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Bethune Park’s water features will be open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with extended days and hours when temperatures rise above 95 degrees. 

Celebration Park is located at 14965 Morgan Avenue, and Bethune Park is at 25510 Lurin Avenue.

MoVal Rocks/MoVal Movies features exciting live bands and fun, family friendly movies at our Civic Center Amphitheater. There's no better way to spend a beautiful Moreno Valley summer evening under the stars!

MoVal Rocks/MoVal Movies takes place every Thursday and Friday evening From June 29 to August 4.

Pet of the Week: Alfie

Our Pet of the Week is Alfie, an incredibly sweet five-year-old Schnauzer/Mini Poodle Mix. Alfie is quite possibly the cutest ball of fluff we’ve ever seen, and we guarantee you will have a hard time resisting his charms. Fun-loving Alfie lives for playtime, and he would thrive with a family who loves to go on walks and trips to the Hound Town Dog Park.
