How To Stay Safe Around Pools This Summer

Summer is in full swing, and in this edition of MoVal Now, we offer some helpful tips on how to stay safe in and around pools this season.

As temperatures heat up, being safe around the pool is more important than ever. Follow the ABCs of pool safety:

  • Adult Supervision. Assign an adult Water Watcher to always keep their eyes on the water.

  • Barriers such as fences, self-closing and self-latching gates, pool motion sensors, windows, drain covers, and door alarms must be in place.

  • Classes. Parents and Caregivers should take CPR, First Aid, and swimming courses available for children and adults.
