Celebrate Local Heroes at Tomorrow's

Veterans Day Ceremony

Join the Mayor and City Council as we honor our local heroes at the Veterans Day Ceremony tomorrow, November 11, at 11 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial, located next to City Hall at 14177 Frederick Street.


The ceremony will include performances from the Canyon Springs High School madrigals, Leadership Military Academy JROTC, and the Rancho Verde High School JROTC, as well as a special appearance by State Senator Richard Roth.


The ceremony will be broadcast live on Facebook, YouTube, and MV3.

Volunteers Help Beautify MoVal Parks

Our latest Beautify MoVal Community Day of Service was an incredible display of community pride!


Scores of volunteers from across Moreno Valley helped maintain the beauty of Bayside Park in District 1 and Weston Park in District 3. Residents painted walls, picked up trash, and ensured our parks looked better than ever!

Moreno Valley's First-Ever Fun Color Run is

One Week Away

Get ready, MoVal! Our first-ever Fun Color Run is next week!


Join us on Saturday, November 18 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon as we run, walk, or even dance along the family-friendly two-mile course! This colorful event begins at the Civic Center Amphitheater and winds around town. It promises to be great fun for the entire family. Strollers and four-legged friends on leashes are welcome! 


And the best part? All participants gather for a celebratory toss of brightly colored festival powders! We hope to see you there to help make this inaugural “Fun Color Run” a memorable, exciting event for everyone.

A Visit to the Moreno Valley Senior Center

Did you know the Moreno Valley Community Senior Center has many free and exciting activities for Moreno Valley residents aged 50 or better? 


Here’s a quick snapshot of a few fun upcoming events at the Senior Center:

 

  • Groove to all the classic hits during Soul Line dance classes every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
  • Learn how to play the guitar with instructor Frank Garcia every Thursday from 1:40 p.m. to 4:10 p.m.
  • And spread some holiday cheer during the Senior Center's annual Holiday Party on December 21!
