February is Fur Lovers

Celebrate the season of love by bringing home a pet from The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter during the Sweet Paws adoption event!

From Tuesday, February 13th to Saturday, February 17th, available dogs and puppies are only $50 to adopt, and cats and kittens are only $25! Prices include spay and neuter surgery, vaccines, and microchips.

Stop by the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter, located at 14041 Ellsworth Street, anytime between 10 am to 5 pm to meet your new best friend. Visit moval.org/pets for more information.

The City's CLiC (Computer Learning and Internet Connectivity) program is a vital resource for residents looking to expand their digital knowledge, gain access to computer and internet-related educational materials, connect with service providers, and much much more!

Residents can use CLiC to locate one of the many FREE public WiFi Gardens throughout the city, sign up for on-demand and virtual learning opportunities, or brush up on the latest cyber security tips to keep personal and professional information safe.

Do you have a bulky item you need to throw away?

Stop by our Free Dump Day event on Saturday, February 10, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Waste Management transfer station, 17700 Indian Street, to drop off your large bulky items for free!

Acceptable items include washers/dryers, TVs, microwaves, refrigerators, box springs, mattresses, patio furniture, e-waste, green waste, and more!

Items NOT accepted include any chemicals, pesticides, oils, paints, batteries, engines, tires, propane tanks, or fluorescent light tubes.

Pet of the Week: Millie

Our Pet of the Week is Millie, a beautiful, spunky little two-year-old female Welsh Corgi-Chihuahua mix. Millie is a bouncing bundle of playful joy with bright eyes and a heartwarming smile. She gets along well with other dogs and is comfortable on a leash.
