A Beautiful Day to Beautify MoVal!

Another Beautify MoVal Event is in the Books!

A big thanks to all of our volunteers, sponsors, and special groups who joined us on Saturday, February 10 for our first Beautify MoVal Community Day of Service of 2024.

After the kickoff ceremony, our "beautifiers" set off to maintain and spruce up Shadow Mountain Park in District 2 and Parque Amistad in District 4.

Watch the video to see some highlights from last week's event.

Beautify MoVal is a great way to meet your neighbors, teach your little ones about the importance of community service, and give back to the city you love.

Books, Videos, and WiFi...Oh My!

Today, we shine the spotlight on the Moreno Valley Public Library Main Branch, conveniently located at the intersection of Kitching Street and Alessandro Boulevard.

The City's Main Branch is host to a vast collection of resources and events specially designed for students, job seekers, and veterans alike.

In addition to free WiFi and a technology center, Library cardholders have access to the innovative Zip Books Program, which provides speedy access to books that are not available in library collections. When a patron requests a print book or audiobook, the Library purchases it from Amazon and the book is then shipped directly to the patron’s home at no charge.

The library's Kanopy streaming service allows you to choose from over 30,000 critically acclaimed movies, documentaries, educational courses, and kids' favorites.

Pet of the Week: Kody

Our Pet of the Week is Kody, a two-year-old male German Shepherd mix. On a sweetness scale of 1-10, he's definitely an 11! A total 'gentledog', Kody is well-mannered and calm as the day is long.

If you would like to make Kody or any pet from the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter part of your family, please contact the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter at 951.413.3790 or visit www.moval.org/pets.
