EXCLUSIVE REPORT: MoVal Volunteers Came Together to Help Beautify Two City Parks

On Saturday, February 8, residents, City staff, and members of the City Council came together for our first Beautify MoVal Community Day of Service of 2025.

After a welcome ceremony with coffee, pastries, vendor booths, and a fun raffle, scores of volunteers set off to beautify Towngate Park and Rockridge Park.

This was the first of multiple Beautify MoVal events that take place throughout the year. For more information, or to sign up for future events, visit moval.org/beautify.

Tacos, Burritos, and Birria, Oh My!

EXCLUSIVE REPORT: Taqueria Dos Potrillos Opens Second MoVal Location

On February 4, Mayor Pro Tem Elena Baca-Santa Cruz and the Chamber of Commerce cut the ribbon on Taqueria Dos Potrillos Express!

This is Taqueria Dos Potrillos’ second location in the city, offering a twist on their usual format: This new “express” location is the first in the chain’s history to offer quick and easy kiosk ordering.

Taqueria Dos Potrillos is known across the Inland Empire for their sweet aguas frescas, fresh hand-made tortillas, and, of course, their delicious tacos.
