Exclusive: The Adventure of a Playtime

EXCLUSIVE REPORT: Moreno Valley Officially Opens Two Brand-New Themed Playgrounds.

The City of Moreno Valley held two ribbon cutting ceremonies to celebrate the official opening of two new playgrounds with exciting themes to encourage imagination, creativity, and exercise for local kids and their families.

Towngate II Park's new play area features a "Treehouse" theme, and Celebration Park's new play area features a "Pirate Adventure" theme. Both parks have been upgraded to include shaded areas over the structures and poured-in-place rubber surfacing to keep things safer and help to regulate temperatures.

Towngate Park is located at 13100 Arbor Park Lane (directly behind the Towngate Community Center).

Celebration Park is located at 14965 Morgan Avenue.

Pet of the Week: Odin

Our Pet of the Week is Odin, a four-year-old, black and tan male German Shepherd mix.

It's no coincidence that this super-sweet boy is named after a Norse god. He is a well-behaved, peace-loving dog with otherworldly charm and gentle characteristics. He'd love to join your family and make your house his very own Asgard.

If you would like to make Odin or any pet from the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter part of your family, please call 951.413.3790 or visit moval.org/pets.

The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter is located at 14041 Elsworth Street in Moreno Valley.

Note: If our featured Pet of the Week has already been adopted when you inquire, please consider one of the other loving pets in the shelter looking for their forever homes.
