Leave the Fireworks to the Professionals!

Fireworks are Moreno Valley Police Department’s top non-emergency priority. Officers are patrolling on the ground and in the air, looking for violators. Using fireworks can result in jail time and up to $3,500 in fines. Fireworks; they’re just not worth it.

This year, leave the fireworks to the professionals. If you see illegal fireworks in your neighborhood, report them by visiting moval.org/fireworks or calling 951.247.8700.

Pet of the Week: Benson

Our Pet of the Week is Benson, a five-year-old, male blue and white Great Dane.

Benson is BIG on charm, BIG on affection, and BIG on fun! In fact, everything about him is larger than life - in a good way! He knows how to do an array of tricks and commands, and even at five years old, he's eager to learn more and entertain his pet parents.

If you would like to make Benson, or any pet from the Moreno Valley Animal Shelter, part of your family, please call 951.413.3790 or visit moval.org/pets.

The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter is located at 14041 Elsworth Street in Moreno Valley.

Note: If our featured Pet of the Week has already been adopted when you inquire, please consider one of the other loving pets in the shelter looking for their forever homes.
