Community Celebrates New Skate Park's Grand Opening
Hundreds of Moreno Valley residents and eager young skaters filled Community Park during the Grand Opening Ceremony for the City's newest skate park. This amazing facility is the result of Moreno Valley’s youth identifying the need for a new centrally located skate park, and petitioning the Mayor and City Council. The Moreno Valley City Council approved the Community Park Skate Park project on August 21, 2018. City Staff worked tirelessly to bring this park to the community in record time, and under budget.

Community Park Skate Park is officially open! MoVal skaters may use the park from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day at no cost, but helmets and pads are required. Community Park Skate Park is a great place for the young people of our community to gather, have fun, and stay active.

Now, thanks to the Moreno Valley Mayor, City council and engaged young community members, skaters of all ages will enjoy the skate park for years to come.
