The M is Back in Full Color!
A couple of weeks ago, we told you about MoVal's iconic M up on Box Springs Mountain being knocked out of regular service by a lightning strike earlier this year. We hoped to have it back in full-color operation by mid-September. But good news: We fixed it sooner!

The multi-color lighting system for the M is intended to enhance local events and provide a source of civic unity and pride. The default color is white, but lighting the M in various other colors promotes the City, state and federal holidays, and other public events of community significance and times of celebration. The City may accept community requests for special lighting to recognize a specific cause or to commemorate or enhance a specific event.

To request a special lighting of the M, or to find out why it's lighted a particular color, visit our M web page at moval.org/mschedule/ .
