Morganites may pay their dues for no more than two consecutive years.

🎄✨ Holiday Mixer Brings Morganites Together in Celebration

The Morgan State University New Jersey Alumni Chapter hosted a festive and memorable Holiday Mixer, bringing together Morganites and friends for an evening of connection, laughter, and Bear pride. The event provided the perfect opportunity to reconnect, catch up, and celebrate the season in true Morgan style.

The room was filled with great conversation, shared memories, and the unmistakable energy that comes from being among fellow Bears. One of the highlights of the evening was Lauren’s karaoke performance, which was both fun and amazing setting the tone for a night of entertainment, smiles, and applause.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who joined us and helped make the mixer such a success. Your presence, enthusiasm, and support continue to strengthen our alumni community and keep Morgan’s spirit thriving here in New Jersey.

HBCU family, it’s time to come together in service!

The HBCU community is invited to participate in an upcoming HBCU Day of Service hosted by a partner organization at the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. This volunteer opportunity is open to HBCU alumni and supporters who are interested in giving back and supporting the community.

✨Morgan Circle of Love: Jersey Weekend Part 5

Morgan Circle of Love will host Jersey Weekend Part 5 on April 17–19, 2026, in Somerset, NJ, bringing together Morgan State University alumni, friends, and supporters for a weekend of fellowship, entertainment, and celebration.

Weekend highlights include a Friday Night Game Night with an R&B/Jazz Band and a Saturday Night Dinner Buffet and Party.

A discounted room block is available at the Delta Hotel, 110 Davidson Street, Somerset, NJ. Guests should mention “Morgan Circle of Love” when booking.

🐻💙 Morgan State’s Magnificent Marching Machine Performed in the Rose Parade

Morgan State University’s world-renowned Magnificent Marching Machine took center stage at one of the most prestigious events in American tradition when the band performed in the 137th Annual Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year’s Day, January 1, 2026, in Pasadena, California.

This historic appearance marked the first time in Morgan State University’s history that the University participated in the iconic Rose Parade often referred to as “The Granddaddy of Them All.” The globally televised event was viewed by more than 50 million people worldwide, highlighting Morgan’s excellence on an international stage.

The announcement of the invitation was originally revealed during halftime at Morgan State’s Homecoming football game, sparking an outpouring of pride across campus and throughout the city of Baltimore. The performance itself served as a powerful moment of celebration, showcasing the University’s rich musical legacy, cultural impact, and enduring Bear pride.

As New Jersey alumni, we proudly celebrated this milestone achievement as the Magnificent Marching Machine represented Morgan State University with distinction and excellence before a global audience.

🎓 Congratulations to the Fall 2025 Graduates!

The Morgan State University New Jersey Alumni Chapter proudly extends heartfelt congratulations to the Fall 2025 graduating class on this incredible milestone.

Morgan State University’s Fall 2025 Commencement Ceremony was held on Friday, December 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Hill Field House, marking a powerful and celebratory moment for graduates, families, and the Morgan community. The ceremony was highlighted by an inspiring keynote address from U.S. Senator Raphael Warnock, who shared words of encouragement, purpose, and leadership as graduates prepared to step into their next chapter.

This achievement reflects years of dedication, resilience, and excellence. As you move forward into your professional and personal journeys, know that you carry with you the pride, legacy, and support of Morgan State University and its alumni network.
