Dear Friends and Family,
On January 1, 2018 I will become a Bar Mitzvah in Israel! For my mitzvah project I am collecting gently used sports equipment for The Sports Shed. As many of you know I love to play sports! I have been fortunate to have played on teams that have provided me with uniforms and my parents have provided me with sports equipment. Many kids living in under-resourced areas in Chicago are not as fortunate. The Sports Shed
www.thesportsshed.org
is making a difference in kids lives.
GOT GEAR?
Check out your
GARAGE
for gently used gear and place it in the bin located in Moriah’s lobby. I will bring the gear to Play it Again Sports where the value of the items will be applied as a credit to The Sports Shed’s account. This allows The Sports Shed to get the gear they need!
Thank you for helping me help kids!

Moriah has a loop system available for individuals using hearing aids, to improve communication access for our members and guests with hearing loss. To access this system, tell your audiologist or hearing instrument specialist that your synagogue is "looped" and ask if there is a t-coil in your hearing aid(s). Then make an appointment to have it activated. If your hearing aids do not have a t-coil, talk with him/her about alternate ways of accessing the loop.
