Lead Ashrei/Shir HaKavod:

We encourage children under bar/bat mitzvah age to lead these prayers from the bima on Shabbat. It is a wonderful way for the next generation to take on leadership roles in the community. If you would like to have your child participate, please contact Dan Werlin.

SHABBAT MINI MINIYAN

Mini-Minyan is a fun, Shabbat morning service geared for kids in grades K-5. Join us each week in the Beit Midrash at 10:30 am for singing, stories, games and acting out the Parasha, as we celebrate the joy of Shabbat together. Parents are not required to attend but are always welcome.

When kids check in for Mini-Minyan, they receive a sticker by their name. After they collect 5 stickers, they get a special treat. We hope to see you this Shabbat!

THERE'S ALWAYS SOMETHING AFTER KIDDUSH

Yiddish Tisch will meet in the Zell Library led by Barbara Palatnik.

Bankier-Boberman Religious School News

What a mitzvah our students did on Sunday! They filled bags with donated hygiene products, food, snacks, stationary, playing cards and lots of warm socks for our troops in the 26th Marine Expedition Unit. Children also wrote letters of encouragement and drew pictures to show their support for the Marines and their service. Joe Wallace, pictured with our students, of the local chapter of the Jewish War Veterans, shared stories and explained why this project is so important to the soldiers. Kol HaKavod to our students and faculty!

Shabbat Shalom,

Greta

"The Hearing Loop"
Moriah has a loop system available for individuals using hearing aids, to improve communication access for our members and guests with hearing loss. To access this system, tell your audiologist or hearing instrument specialist that your synagogue is "looped" and ask if there is a t-coil in your hearing aid(s). Then make an appointment to have it activated. If your hearing aids do not have a t-coil, talk with your audiologist about alternate ways of accessing the loop.
