SHABBAT MINI MINYAN

Mini-Minyan is a fun, Shabbat morning service geared for kids in grades K-5. Join us each week in the Beit Midrash at 10:30 am for singing, stories, games and acting out the Parasha, as we celebrate the joy of Shabbat together. Parents are not required to attend but are always welcome. 



When kids check in for Mini-Minyan, they receive a sticker by their name. After they collect 5 stickers, they get a special treat. We hope to see you this Shabbat!

Bankier-Boberman Religious School News 

In celebration of Rosh Chodesh Adar Alef this week, our students learned about Rosh Chodesh (the New Month) and the different cycles of the moon. They created “moon dough” and formed shapes of the 8 phases of the moon provided on their sheet. Everyone enjoyed making and playing with their “moon dough!”

The final session of the 6^th Grade B’nai Mitzvah workshop took place last Sunday. Students led a delightful “Mock Shabbat” service for their parents in the Sanctuary, based on what they learned the week prior (and complete with a sermon and announcements). Special thanks to Ari Vachman for his engaging demonstration of how to put on Tefillin, immediately following morning minyan. It was personal and insightful.
