THANK YOU MOSAIC VOLUNTEERS!

We are so thankful for our amazing volunteers that made the 2023 event season possible! Volunteers joined staff members at Juneteenth, Bend Pride, Prideville, Madras Community in the Park, Balanced Bend Mental Health Festival, and more. We are grateful to have folks who are as passionate about sharing Mosaic with the community as we are!

If you are interested in supporting Mosaic as a non-clinical volunteer, please fill out this form to provide us with a bit more information! Questions? Check out our volunteer page or email volunteer@mosaicmedical.org

Now open: New Mosaic sites expand access to care

A new Mosaic location at 244 NW Kingwood Ave. in Redmond opened earlier this summer. In partnership with Deschutes County Behavioral Health, the site offers integrated behavioral health and primary care services to adults, youth and families.

Mountain View School-Based Health Center

Located on the campus of Mountain View High School

at 2755 NE 27th St. in Bend, Mosaic’s newest

School-Based Health Center is a partnership with Bend-LaPine Schools and Deschutes County Health Services. The site serves anyone 18 years of age or younger and offers a full range of physical, behavioral and preventive health services.

Generous gifts from community members, local businesses and foundations helped raise more than $200,000 to support this new location.

COMING SOON: Sisters School-Based Health Center

The Sisters School-Based Health Center, located adjacent to Sisters High School, will soon expand its operations from two days a week to four days a week, thanks to a partnership between Mosaic Community Health, St. Charles Health System and Deschutes County. On Oct. 18, Mosaic will assume operations of the health center, which is currently operated by St. Charles Health System, in a building owned by Deschutes County. Learn more HERE.

Mosaic’s Patient Fund: Breaking down barriers

What is the Patient Fund and why does it need your support? Mosaic is raising crucial funds for our Patient Fund100% of these donations go straight to patients in need. Mosaic's Patient Fund was started by our dedicated staff members. They collected cans and donations to create this resource of last resort for thousands of patients in need.

Even with our incredible care teams and support from our community partners, Mosaic cannot cover all patient needs. That's why we rely on the Patient Fund as a safety net. Join us in supporting our patients by donating online at www.mosaicch.org/support-us/donate or learn more HERE.

Your donation at work:

  • $10 covers the co-pay of a lifesaving medication.
  • $25 covers the shoe inserts for someone who works long hours on their feet to reduce pain.
  • $50 provides food insecure patients with emergency food to get through a weekend.
  • $100 provides a diaper bag full of much needed supplies for new parents.
  • $250 covers ten boxes of hydration packets for ongoing distribution to houseless patients in the heat of summer or ten boxes of hand warmers in winter months.

Keep covered!

Please help spread the word that OHP members need to take action to protect their medical benefits. Renewal letters are going out now through mid-2024. Here is what OHP members need to do:

• Make sure your address is up to date. You can update on your own or get free help. You can do this online, by phone or in person.

• Check your mail for renewal letters. When they come, do what they ask right away.

Visit KeepCovered.Oregon.gov or reach out to Mosaic’s Enrollment Team for more information and free help: 541-647-2717.
