"If we had realization of refuge and of impermanence and death, we would never waste our time; we would never waste our life...Constantly, day and night, all the time we would practice. Everything would become Dharma, pure Dharma. Even if we didn't have realization of bodhicitta or renunciation of samsara, we would still have detachment to this life and the wish to seek the happiness of future lives. That's the very minimum motivation that is Dharma."

- Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche

The Kindness of Others:

"Everything we eat depends on the kindness of the many others who bring it to us...the roads that bring us our food and help us get from place to place were built by the hard work of many people. We might think that we paid for this, but where did we get the money? It came from our job, but we only got that (the job) because somebody gave it to us. Therefore, all we have comes from the kindness of others." -Geshe Jampa Tegchok

Greetings!

Most Secret Hayagriva is the wrathful manifestation of Avalokiteshvara (Guan Yin) who performs the function of controlling negative forces and obstacles in a quick way. The practice of this deity helps to develop compassion as the deity is a manifestation of Avalokitseshvara.

Extensive Offering Puja
29 July Sunday, 8.30am - 6pm

This extensive offering ritual to Most Secret Hayagriva called the Tamdrin Tsog Kong in Tibetan is extremely powerful against obstacles created by nagas (such as cancer, leprosy, skin diseases, etc.) and landlord spirits (which manifest as paralysis or spirit harm). It also works against epilepsy which is connected with spirit harm. The principal cause of these illnesses is one's negative karma, while these non-human entities are the precipitating conditions. Praying to Hayagriva is strongly recommended during such degenerate times when living beings have so many sufferings and illnesses. Such degeneration is related to the degenerate minds and the strength of delusions of the living beings of this age.

During this puja, extensive confession and offerings are made. Besides the usual offerings of flowers, incense, lights and foodstuff, many elaborate tormas (ritual offering cakes), medicinal nectar and tsog offerings are presented. Offerings and requests are also made to various Dharma protectors for their swift enlightened activity.

You may come at any time of the day to join in the puja.
